Escape the Winter Blues!!

While watching the news over the last few days I have noticed a theme when it comes to the weather, it’s very, very cold all across the country and December is just getting started. What is it going to be like in January and February? If I had to guess COLD!! Brrrr!
That got me thinking, well more like day dreaming, about white sand, clear blue water and a light warm breeze…I’m warming up already. Did I mention I also had one of those tropical drinks with the umbrella sticking out in my hand? Feeling the sun’s glorious warmth soaking into my skin is so nice. The only decisions I have to make are what SPF I should use and do I hit the pool or the beach. Suddenly, reality comes crashing in as I realize that there isn’t going to be a tropical vacation for me this year. I have to worry about the car payment, my kids braces, a couple of medical bills, oh and the rent…well you get the point.
Anyway, to the point of why I’m writing this. If I can’t afford a vacation this year why not try winning one. So I started searching through my archives and the internet for sweepstakes for those perfect winter getaways. Just reading the descriptions of these tropical locations has warmed me up a little.
